I have very light colored thin facial hair so I was concerned that the spring sprong wouldn't pick it up. It works great!!! When I did the first pass over my upper lip, it felt like my skin was getting ripped up along with the facial hair, so yes it hurts but this is the best solution I have come across to keep away unwanted facial hair in a long time.
