I started using Aqua Glycolic during my first pregnancy because I needed something to help clear my problematic first-trimester skin, but didn't want a product that remained on my face all night like a toner or a cream. Alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid are safe to use during pregnancy, but I still didn't want more than a few minutes exposure to them. This stuff works quickly and effectively. I use it in the morning, putting it on dry skin and leaving it on for 1-3 minutes. As I rinse it off, I can often feel the dead skin sloughing off.
